A generalised framework for dispute derivations in assumption-based argumentation
<22>The paper builds upon and generalises in non-trivial manners two highly cited earlier AI Journal papers, co-authored by F Toni (Vol.170(2):114–159, 2006, Vol.171(10-15):642–674, 2007). It provides theoretical foundations and paves the way towards a family of argumentation tools of large applicability. It is basis for two argumentation systems (http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~rac101/proarg/, http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/%7Erac101/proarg/) used for three medical applications: treatment decision support for breast cancer, identification of relevant clinical trials for brain methastasis patients (with Dr Matthrew Williams Charing Cross Hospital) and decision support for the application of NICE guideline for Type 2 diabetes treatment (with Prof Azeem Majeed at the Charing Cross Hospital).
