Additional information

<31> This journal paper is of significance for any organisation that uses email as a communication medium. It reports the outcome of a content analysis of a range of acceptable use policies from a number of organisations. Authored by a cross-disciplinary (Psychology and Computing Science) and international team (UK and South Africa) it sheds light on the ineffective nature of current policies and makes recommendations for their appropriate development. In so doing, the paper serves to inform effective organisational functioning.
