<20>The paper is published in one of the premier journals in HCI. It reports a qualitative study of photo display practices by parents and teenagers in eight British households. The findings show that traditional practices of printed photo (album) curation by mothers are being superseded by new forms of digital and online photo curation by teenagers. The design implications were subsequently explored in a series of novel networked photo displays with Microsoft, and exhibited in the interactivity category at CHI 2008 (see Durrant et al 2008 RAE submission).
