This contribution demonstrated successful integration of RF MEMS switches and CMOS-based close loop control. Based on this work, Lehigh University and MEMtronics won circa $ 2M competitive funding from the Missile Defence Agency (2010-12) in turn leading to AFOSR support following encouragement from Boeing, Seattle.
