Double-weighted statement

This is a 192 page book of approximately 70,000 words. I am the sole author. The research was conducted between 2007 and 2010. The book details the role of mazes and labyrinths in western culture, and how videogames change our understanding and experiences of these structures. The research conducted utilizes a phenomenological approach of walking real world mazes, combined with theories of space, game design, and player interaction in first and third person computer games. The result is a morphology of paths for understanding game design patterns and player experience.
