Additional information

This work demonstrates that clinically important diagnostic features can be extracted from non-invasive conventional electrocardiogram sensors without significant distortion and is published in the leading clinical obstetrics and gynecology journal. World and US patents (US7949389, 61/045,055 and 61/100,807, 11/470,506) have been licensed by a spin-out company of which Dr Clifford is CTO (Mindchild Medical, Andover, MA). The company has received 510(k)FDA clearance (ref:K120018, 19/9/2012) for the resultant device. Dr Clifford has led this collaboration (also with Tufts Medical and Grenoble University) for five years.
