Additional information

<22> Mobile agents are a shift away from client-server architecture. A major issue with this is if the agent is intercepted on the way to its destination, and information is extracted, which can then be used for malicious purposes. This paper provides new ways of protecting the agent in transit, and proposes methods which can be used to stop the replaying of the agent’s activities. The rigour of the work involves an in-depth analysis of replay attacks on mobile agents and the mitigation of these, and this is then implemented with an e-Commerce scenario, measuring overhead between a protected/non-protected agent.
