I have proposed, performed and analysed the isomer data from this experiment, with W. Urban analysing the prompt-fission part. I wrote the article and made the theoretical calculations which are included. I made the entire experimental set up at the Lohengrin spectrometer. I had previously spent 5 years building the -ray spectroscopy set up at the Lohengrin spectrometer of the ILL. These data have shown that the electric-dipole transitions, which are often a signature of octupole correlations, are severely retarded as quadrupole deformation sets in greatly aiding our understanding of these effects in this region.
