Fullerene-based one-dimensional crystalline nanopolymer formed through topochemical transformation of the parent nanowire
IF 3.767
This work is the first example of its kind and significant in terms of making low dimensional fullerene polymers for electronic and photonic applications. Scientifically, the nature of the bonding mode adopted by the polymeric chains and the polymerization pathway has been revealed by using the evidence obtained from gas chromatography, mass spectrometry and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
The work has been well commented by experts in the research community and cited by a number of media. The following web links show two of such media reports.
