This 110,000 word co-authored book is the first to make a serious examination of the intellectual world of evangelicals in America since the 1960s. Research for The Anointed drew on an extensive range of materials, including dozens of original interviews with conservative evangelical leaders; denominational records; letters; speeches; denominational publications; home school curriculum; polling data; and more, many of which had not been used before.
