Additional information

The work advances the application of evolutionary algorithms to sub-micron standard cell design. The output of an EPSRC funded project (EP/E001610/1), the research has lead to a commercialisation project, funded by EPSRC and Yorkshire Forward, developing a product suitable for use in industry design flows. The outcome was the formation of a spin-out company (ngenics Global Ltd, alec.vogt@ngenics.com) to license/sell the product.
