Additional information

Thermal transfer through textile fabrics plays an important role in thermal comfort of protective clothing. Some of the thermal properties of textiles are unable to be measured by instruments. The great benefit of FEA is that some of the important material properties which are unable to be tested can be predicted by FE models validated by experimental results. This paper presented a validated FE model and predicted properties of dynamic thermal conductivity and the thermal resistance of fabric. Siddique is PhD student and author who drafted the paper. Sun is the supervisor and concept generator.
