A physiological optimal control strategy to maintain the upright position for tightrope and slackline walking is introduced in this paper. It formed the basis for a collaboration with M.Venkadesan that led to a one-month Visiting Professorship at the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore, India (evidence file: Paoletti1-1).
