Simulation of service-oriented systems for Mobile Ad hoc Networks
<5> Simulating service-oriented systems is a new challenge for distributed simulations, due to the difficulty of integrating service based interactions with discrete events. This paper proposes a framework for simulating service-oriented ad hoc networked systems. The developed simulation environment comprises two layers. The upper layer is service-oriented architecture deployed by OSGi platform, while the lower layer is mobile ad hoc network simulation deployed in ns2 platform. Profoundly, the proposed framework features service-oriented architecture for modelling and simulation, including more transparent distributed simulation, fundamentally enhanced component reusability, and unification of entities from the source system to those in the simulation model.
