Additional information

Lossl, as co-editor of the volume, designed and delivered the academic vision of the project and was chiefly responsible for editing Part I: ‘Alexandria to Rome’. He contributed pp. 2-7 of the introduction, outlining the guiding idea of the volume, of a link between the Latin and Syriac commentary tradition, and focusing on the Latin contribution. He also wrote Part I, chapter 6 (pp. 111-120), and compiled the bibliography and indices section (pp. 287-343), altogether 71 pages, nearly 20% of the pagination.
