Additional information

This work was a collaboration between CERN, Lancaster and STFC. This work represents the only method of meeting the alignment specifications for linear colliders and will be needed for all future linear colliders with crossing angles. The work on ILC crab cavities performed by Lancaster was the basis of the crab cavity section of the ILC Baseline Configuration Document in collaboration with FNAL, SLAC, CERN, STFC and Manchester University. This work has led to Lancaster's involvement in the LHC and CLIC crab cavities and was partly presented as an invited talk at the SRF2009 on crab cavities.
