Additional information

Paper presents our novel research on RF for biomedical application (citation in a Perspectives article in 'Science': 2013,Vol. 340 no. 6131 pp. 441-442 ). Work led to several Dstl contracts (£180k, 2007-2012, John Tattersall, JTATTERSALL@mail.dstl.gov.uk) and an EPSRC platform grant on Antennas for healthcare and imaging (£1m, EP/F047061/1, 2008). Resulted in a wide collaborative research on RF heating of gold nano-particles for cancer treatment with: QM School of Engineering and Material Science (D. Wen d.wen@qmul.ac.uk), QM School of Medicine and Dentistry (J. Marshall j.marshall@qmul.ac.uk ) and MD Anderson Cancer Centre, University of Texas (Steven Curley, scurley@mdanderson.org ).
