Additional information

As co-editor of this volume, Alyal selected and arranged papers offered at the conference ‘Bodies of Myth’ (Leeds Trinity University 2007), so as to posit a new reading of myth as constructive of meaning in a digital age. Alyal also undertook additional research into leading writers on myth, contributing half of the Introduction. She undertook further correspondence with half the contributors, suggesting additional research and clarification of their chapters, so that overall the volume had a coherent purpose in charting a critique of teleological hermeneutics in the fluid construction of identities.
