Additional information

A novel high pressure fine spray swirl atomiser was developed incorporating a patented (EP2114457B1) spill return orifice into the rear face of the swirl chamber aiming to give significant reduction in flow rate whilst maintaining droplet size. The fine spray device is used by HSS Ltd for various applications such as hospital disinfection, decontamination and fire and explosion. The drop size (SMD) is less than 20 microns for flow rates as low as 0.1litre/min. The production of fine sprays provides adequate contact time for any disinfection applied to be effective, with rapid evaporation and leave no residue behind.
