A first integral of Navier–Stokes equations and its applications
The idea underpinning the research, recommended by the reviewers for rapid publication, emerged while PHG was a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) funded Senior Research Fellow based in Germany in 2009. It subsequently formed the basis of a joint research project (Ref: SCHO 767/1, 2012-15) funded by Germany’s Duetsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and called “Development of New Solution Methods in Fluid Dynamics Based on First Integrals of the Navier-Stokes Equations”; emerging results were presented as an Invited Lecture at an International Workshop on New Methods of Numerical Simulation and Measurement in Tribology (Bulgaria, 2013) [verification: Prof. Markus Scholle, Heilbronn University; markus.scholle@hs-heilbronn.de].
