Professor Bell is a Professor in Biochemistry and the head of the Metabolic and Molecular Imaging Group at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, a Research Council embedded Institute at the Hammersmith Hospital Campus, Imperial College London. Professor Grasby is head of Counter Terrorism Research and Analysis at the Home Office. As a leading neuroimaging investigator Professor Grasby collaborates with Professor Nutt and Lingford-Hughes on studies of affective disorders. The work has been part of funding to Nutt for development of the ICCAM collaborative research cluster and all Professor Grasby's research outputs during the REF period are affiliated to Imperial and the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, a Research Council embedded Institute at the Hammersmith Hospital Campus, Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust.

Dr Johnson is a Consultant Neurologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Dr Johnson collaborates with Imperial colleagues on a number of projects; Enrico Petretto from the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre and Lachlan Coin from the Department of Public Health. He has co-supervised 2 Imperial PhD students.

Dr Johnson is heavily involved in teaching Imperial College students: he lectures on the Graduate entry MBBS course, MSC in Translational Medicine, MSc in Neuroscience, BSc in Neuroscience, Lecturer in Neurology to Year 2, 5 and 6 Medical students and in Pharmacology to Year 2. He is also Personal Tutor to medical students the MBBS finals examiner and he sits on the Pharmacology and Therapeutics teaching Committee.

Dr Johnson has held 10 Imperial research grants totalling over £800k during the REF period. He has jointly published 16 papers with Imperial colleagues during the REF period.

Dr Kinali is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Dr Kinali and her Imperial Colleague Professor Muntoni co-ordinated a Phase I/II Clinical Trial using a Morpholino Antisense Oligonucleotide (AVI-4658) in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The findings of this trial were published and can be seen in her REF outputs. Dr Kinali also set up a Rare Diseases biological samples bank (Biobank) at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, for research to facilitate pharmacological, gene and cell therapy trials in NMD.

Dr Kinali has published 12 articles through her collaborations with Imperial College colleagues Professor Muntoni and Professor Garralde.
