Additional information

The paper reports on a novel electronic control strategy for a bioMEMS device, and demonstrates that the control strategy can be used to improve signal recovery to the stage where the sensor is commercially viable. The research was a key part of the case for support in obtaining an EPSRC Nanotechnology Grand Challenge award (Detecting infectious organisms: a concerted approach using genomics, molecular engineering and nano-enabled bio-MEMS technologies, AptaMEMS-ID; EP/G061394/1; £1.8M).
