Additional information
Efficient encapsulation of anti-TNF antibody into TIPS microspheres is demonstrated. Retention of biologically activity and release in a controlled manner suitable for therapeutic purposes is demonstrated in vitro. Preliminary discussions and pilot studies have been initiated in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies who are interest in the technology, with a view to partnering development of the technology via translational follow on funds that will enable clinical trials powered to demonstrate efficacy.
