GMBS: a new middleware service for making grids interoperable
<02> Originality: There are two possibilities of making grids interoperable and distributing jobs among them. The first one promotes interlinking of grid systems through peering agreements between brokers. In the second approach existing grids could be interconnected by uniform meta-brokers and workflow-oriented portals should interface these meta-brokers. The paper, first time in the literature, describes a solution for the second approach.
Significance: The paper solves an important problem in designing large distributed systems by interconnecting grids built on different grid middleware.
Rigour: Analyses of the two methods support all major findings of this research. Results published in a leading, peer-reviewed journal.
