Additional information

The research underpinning this book focused on the strategic challenges and opportunities for museums and universities working together. Shaped by Boddington, this book examines the educational roles that both institutions play, and might play in the future, in contributing to post compulsory learning. It explores some of the barriers that have compromised and prevented the development of more systematic and enduring partnerships, and how these may be overcome. Contributions for this book were developed for a conference hosted by the V&A with the University of Brighton in July 2010, and subsequently reshaped following the changes in global economic fortunes.
