Additional information

This paper advances evolutionary algorithms and their application to dynamical systems. The output of an EPSRC funded project (EP/F060041/1) in collaboration with colleagues from Biology and Computer Science, the result is a novel evolutionary algorithm inspired by biochemical networks. This has subsequently been used in technology, protected by patent application, to monitor the side-effects of medication for Parkinson’s disease (PCT/GB13/051888) and assist diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease (PCT/GB13/051889).
