Design and analysis of robust minimax LQG controller for an experimental beam considering spill-over effect
This work successfully addresses for the fist time the challenging problem of designing a controller for a non-minimum phase system against unmodeled dynamics, an issue of key concern in active noise and vibration control applications. The significance of the work is that it is a non-trivial contribution to the available results in this area by considering high order modes in controller design. The method proposed for tuning the parameters of the controller and achieving the required compromise is unique. The work has stimulated further studies, the results of which have been published in three conferences and one journal paper
