Coexistence of magnetic fluctuations and superconductivity in the pnictide high temperature superconductor SmFeAsO1-xFx measured by muon spin rotation.
This paper reports the first muon measurements on the Sm based pnictide superconductors and part of a wider international collaborative project on this class of materials. An unusual enhancement of slow spin fluctuations in the vicinity of the superconducting transition is observed, suggesting an unconventional superconducting state. This work resulted in an invited talk to New Generation Strongly Correlated Electron Systems (NGSCES, 2010, Lanzarote, Spain) and numerous invited colloquia, and has been regularly presented at other conferences and workshops (e.g. MaNEP Topical Meeting, 2009, Switzerland).
