<26>This paper [GoogleScholar:34], published in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, (IF 2.215 ranked 7/104 in Software Engineering) is the first to describe a high-precision augmented reality haptics setup for medical training, including all required approaches for calibration, registration, and synchronization. The developments have been part of a large collaborative project in the interdisciplinary Co-Me research network, funded through the SNSF (£1.2M).
