Additional information

<06> This paper presents a novel approach that employs semantic concepts for device/service discovery and relationship generation to facilitate device auto-configuration. The approach is essential for managing networked appliances in smart home environments. It enables disparate devices to achieve self-management without user interaction. A case study is also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the approach. The significance of the paper lies in that it presents the early groundwork which has inspired further research in the subject area.
