Conditional dynamics of interacting quantum dots
Coherently coupling several quantum systems is the key ingredient of building a quantum computer. This work demonstrated a controllable interaction mechanism that may be used to reach that goal. It had a large impact on the solid-state quantum information community and has been highly cited. It was highlighted in Nature Photonics and in several international news media. Moreover, it led to invited talks at five international conferences and seminars (including the International Winterschool on New Developments in Solid State Physics in Mauterndorf and the International Conference on Quantum Optics and Quantum Information in Vilnius).
