Additional information

The boundary-following navigation mechanism has been discovered during experiments on human spermatozoa motility in microchannels. The work is a big step towards explanation of how the sperm reach the egg and will no doubt result in series of other studies. The article enjoyed wide national and international press coverage including such titles as Daily Mail and taken up by tens of scientific blogs across the world.
