Additional information

EPSRC funded research (EP/C509080/1) allowing simultaneous tracking of multiple tracers in Positron Emission Particle Tracking (PEPT) by developing new algorithms to track particles with different activities. Represents a step change in PEPT capability enabling for the first time the translational and rotational motion of particles to be recorded in unit operations relevant to food (canning, Campden BRI) and minerals processing (milling, IMERYS), as well as detergent tablet dissolution (Procter & Gamble). Work has delivered underlying capability that is now commonly used within the Centre for Positron Imaging.
