<07> This work, published at Middleware 2012 (acceptance rate 19%), was conducted in close collaboration with our NHS partner: in particular the techniques developed in this paper were especially developed to reduce the manual, costly and error-prone secure auditing for new software functionalities developed in an NHS Cancer Registry. The middleware prototype is in fact currently deployed at our partner for the purpose of evaluation and assessment. The work was supported by EPSRC Pathways to impact award EP/I501053 to extend the work funded by SmartFlow EPSRC grant (EP/F042469 and EP/F044216) and published in USENIX (REF output #2) and Middleware conferences.
