Additional information

This design/technology based research aims to develop fabrics/garments capable of altering the mood of the wearer. Photonic woven fabrics are developed from scattering luminescent fibre optics capable of changing their colours via unobtrusive electronics, by detecting changes in the voice of the wearer and analysing the psychometric changes of their voice by wearable electronics in the garment the size of a credit card. Flexible photovoltaic cells blend within the garment design to provide battery charge to the whole garment assembly. The work is implemented in a collection of two suits (male/female).
