Double-weighted statement

The first archive-based institutional history of the Soviet Komsomol between 1917-1932, this 290-page book is based on extensive archival and library work in Moscow, including the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, the Russian State Archive of Economy, and the State Archive of the Russian Federation. It makes extensive use of contemporary Soviet periodicals and newspapers, many of them only accessible in the Lenin Library and the State Public Historical Library in Moscow. Comprehensive in scale and scope, it has been enthusiastically reviewed.
