<05> This paper expands our research on network convergence at the MAC layer to also address some physical-layer features and, moreover, in a new area of cognitive radio. As a result of this a research proposal has been accepted to go to the Stage 2 competition of EPSRC’s recent call TI3. An IEEE conference keynote presentation was given also relating to this work.
