Additional information

This paper reports results from collaboration with Bath University (EPSRC PV21 SUPERGEN (GR/S86341/01 & EP/F029624/1). It reports our pioneering UK device making, more than twice the previous world record Cu2ZnSnSe4 device efficiency. It was referenced by the IBM group’s subsequent breakthrough research that identified the importance of adding selenium to their sulphide to increase material/device quality (doi:10.1016/j.solmat.2010.11.028). Contributed to: leadership - New and Sustainable Materials WP in renewed PV21; Founding membership of European Kesterite Network (EUKENE), Partnership in KESTCELLS (Marie Curie ITN, FP7-PEOPLE-2012-ITN-316488) invited talk, Workshop on Physics and Chemistry of Climate Change and Entrepreneurship, Sao Paulo (http://www.fapesp.br/en/5072workshop).
