Additional information

This paper reports the next generation orthopaedic superalloys prepared by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS). The work was the result of a funded research project (ORUK ref: 451) by Orthopaedic Research UK. The work was conducted in collaboration with Cambridge University, University College London and Furlong Trust. One of the co-authors (Edirisinghe; PI of the project) was invited at HAC 25 (The Royal College of Surgeons of England, Nov 2010) to present the research findings of this project.
