Additional information

The Patent describes a process for the development of a novel cellulose nano-fibre. It offers an alternative approach to traditional textile production from regenerated cellulose. The process leads to a fibre with improved levels of crystallinity and higher strength potential compared to established methods. Higher strength industrial textiles offer a higher value proposition for cellulose. The patent has led to the development of a new commercially funded research programme with more than £4 million investment to date.
