This paper demonstrates the first organic memory transistor reported in the literature. It was the basis for a British Council Prime Minister’s Initiative 2 (PMI2) collaboration ( £ 40k) involving Bangor, Durham and the MASDAR Institute, United Arab Emirates ( 2009-2012). The paper was selected for the May 11, 2009 issue of Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology, Vol. 19, Issue 19,2009. Further dissemination of this work was effected via an interview with the corresponding author (Petty, Durham) by Electronics Weekly, 8th June (2009):
