Reports outcomes from a Rolls Royce sponsored PhD project into the cure kinetics of aerospace epoxy resins. Significant findings have led to further support from Bombardier Aerospace (PhD CAST) as well as two further projects with an Aerospace OEM and with the NIACE Competence Centre which are currently at the specification stage. Direct company feedback indicate expected savings of several million pounds in scrapped mould tools based on the results of this research.
