Additional information

The work in this paper is part of an ongoing collaboration with clinical colleagues at the John Radcliffe Hospital (running for over 5 years). The database on which our work is based is the largest such repository of labour recordings in the world. The work here directly led to a grant from Action Medical Research to develop an automated system to detect fetuses most at risk in labour, which will be ready to move to clinical trials at the end of the grant.
