Additional information

This research stems from a collaboration with the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge that incorporates feedback control into incremental sheet forming, which is a novel manufacturing processes. The model developed in the paper was used to inform the design of a control system that was implemented on a prototype rig. The research is being carried forward as part of grant (EP/K018108/1) under the EPSRC call for Flexible and Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems.
