Additional information

Involvement in this project has been shared between co-editors Cornick and Professor Debra Kelly, from the conception of the original book (BA funding secured by Cornick at Birmingham) through the whole process, including the soliciting of potential authors, the organisation of a series of workshops and seminars with contributors, writing the introduction, and proofing the whole volume twice with the publishing house. Cornick also contributed a single-author chapter (13 - ''The first bastion of the Resistance': the beginnings of the Free French in London 1940-1'').
