A simplified synthesis of N-doped zeolite-templated carbons, the control of the level of zeolite-like ordering and its effect on hydrogen storage properties
This paper set out the development of zeolite-like microporous carbon materials with high surface area for high hydrogen uptake. It is the first to use zeolite EMC-2 as a hard template to make such type of materials for enhanced hydrogen storage capacity. Build on this paper and other related works, we were invited to present a comprehensive review on porous carbon materials for hydrogen storage in Journal of Material Chemistry A. We were also invited to give an Invited Lecture on this topic in International Conference on Advanced Complex Inorganic Nanomaterials (Namur, 2013).
