Additional information

<08>Our approach enables the application of efficient time handling schemes for event scheduling and performance metrics in different application domains, and supports the formal analysis of parallel schedulings to avoid design errors. Our scheduling primitives with parameter passing constitute a unified approach for modelling more abstract constructs widely used in practice, such as (stochastic) delays, timers, durations and periodic activities. This work has fostered interest in other approaches for the simulation of timed, domain-specific models using graph transformation (Ziegert, ICTAC13, Troya, IST13). This is the extended journal version of the work that received the EASST best paper award in ICGT10.
