Additional information

The study has been focused on the development of a computational program to estimate the performance of the RO process in the pressure vessel. Most of the previous academic works focused on the modelling a flat sheet frame plate RO membrane while the commercial RO system modelling was carried out by the manufacturing companies and it is only valid for the RO modules provided manufactured by the company. The developed RO modelling included the effect of concentration polarization and pressure drop in multi elements RO system. The model was validated using data from a pilotplant and there was good agreement between the model and pilotplant results.
