Additional information

This paper introduces the current energy system in Ireland and the targets that Irish operators are to achieve in the next decade. This study has been sponsored by EnBio in Dublin to build a comprehensive study on energy storage options for Ireland. This study outlined the use of hydrogen and fuel cell technology. Going forward to achieve high levels of renewable energy generation, wind/hydrogen hybrid systems has been proposed which would be the best solution to build the renewable energy system in most of European Cities and countries. This paper represents the platform to build an effective renewable energy system.
