Additional information

<22> Recent work in operational research has led to new hybrid methodologies where two branches of techniques, mathematical programming and advanced search algorithms, originally investigated isolated, are effectively integrated to tackle highly complex real-world scheduling problems. This work presents such an integration, which proves to be highly efficient and effective on the widely-tested benchmark datasets. The integrated approach has been used by researchers worldwide when evaluating their new methods for different problems. The paper is ranked in the top 1% cited papers in Mathematics by ISI Essential Science Indicators. The journal has a 5-year impact factor of 2.524.
